sprang from the idea of being able to make professional practices mobile and being able to pass them on. The Knowledge Box is a collaborative interface contained within an all-terrain flight case.
The "VEGAS 2012" Knowledge Box was designed for centralising and sharing documents and data: a user-friendly collaborative tool for annotating, distributing and passing on information, a business interface which supports management through experience, offering support for decision-making and project management on the ground.
For building new factories, it can meet very specifically the operational requirements of the project teams responsible for:
• construction and assembly;
• on-site inspections and testing, operations support.
he "TEAM MARTIN" Knowledge Box can be used to map, standardise and cross-reference all the data in an urban network (hot and cold).
Information can be accessed in an intuitive and collaborative way by all stakeholders involved in a project (project management support, elected representatives, technical operators, etc.), and this can support making investment and development decisions (local development planning, Energy Efficiency, etc.).
The "SMART PIPE" demonstrator is a physical demonstrator comprising pipework and RFID tags (nanotechnologies).
When connected to one of the two knowledge boxes, it serves to highlight the benefit of interfacing digital technology with physical facilities, communicating about the group's skills and expertise, and reflecting on a collaborative approach for developing data management solutions.
